Getting started in Endurance sports like triathlon, cycling, and running begins by putting us on a path of information research and then leads to information overload.  Below is a list of some of our favorite online training resources, some old standards.  So where do you begin? 
  • Start with a realistic goal and make a commitment to it.  By realistic, keep in mind all the time, labor, and actual costs involved to reach a goal. 
Begin by following a basic training plan that is geared toward your current athletic skill set, the distance or event you want to cover, and build from there.  Of course, like any sport, this is one sport you can end up $pending a lot of money on, but don't be fooled into thinking that you have to spend to win. 

​Leave the major spending to the pros and corporate sponsors, where timing can definitely mean the difference between a win, a loss, and your career (but hey, if you got it ...go for it drop a few grand on those zippy wheels!).
